things happen to good people. And mediocre things happen to mediocre people. Let’s face it: Things happen
to people. And that’s the problem with using clichés. They often make no sense at all. Sure,
I suppose it can be argued that bad things are more than likely to happen to bad people than they are good people. But
if that’s the point you’re trying to make, then that’s what you need to say.
