Says who? I’m guessing poor people.
Us poor folk would like to believe that money doesn’t buy happiness – always – but the truth is, it sometimes
does. If your child were dying because you couldn’t afford an operation and you suddenly got the money to save
your child’s life... yeah, I’m betting you would be happy. If not... wow! And, really, us poor folk
don’t believe that malarkey, either. If we did, then none of us would even bother trying. Need proof?
Just look how many folks buy lottery tickets. I’m betting they’re not all rich folks trying to get richer.
Money may, or may not, buy happiness. Not having money, on the other hand, doesn’t buy squat.
