Why? What's so wonderful about being safe? What's so bad about being sorry? Sure, if you're talking about commercial air travel or a bus full of orphans, being safe is probably better than being sorry, but would you really want that to be your credo for life in general? You would never try anything new. You would be doomed to go through life wearing the same button-down shirt, staring out the same window at all the different people passing you by on the same street, while eating baloney on white bread, and washing it all down with grape Kool Aid. You would have never learned to ride a bike, never scraped a knee, never fallen in love, and never broken your heart. All so you could live to be old enough to be sorry you had ever been so damned safe.
