The Holy Grail Press is pleased to announce that the renown scholar, Dr. Ivan Tupidsay, is the newest member of our staff.

Dr. Tupidsay received his PhD in Applied Informational Acquisition from the University of Senegal in 1991, where he remained as a lecturer and a research fellow for the next six years.  During that time he published regularly, foremost of which was the critically acclaimed The Development of the Spork:  A Dream Come True.  In 1997 he accepted a seat at the University of Tuvalu as a visiting lecturer.  Under the impression that Dr. Tupidsay was somebody others would care about, he was almost immediately kidnapped by the terrorist cell Die Putz Scum, a group of radicals seeking the independence of Funafuti.  Having that impression clarified, the terrorists subsequently released Dr. Tupidsay.  Dr. Tupidsay went on to write about the experience in his exposee, Those Knives are Sharp.  Currently Dr. Tupidsay is on sabatical from the University of Milan while he finishes his latest novel, Title.

The Holy Grail Press is honored to be associated with such a scholar and a gentleman as Dr. Tupidsay.  In addition to contributing, he will also serve as Technical Consultant and Scientific Editor for HGP. 

Featured in our newest tab, Academia, is Dr. Ivan Tupidsay’s latest essay, “The Liberal Gene:  Determining subconscious political and religious inclinations” which he co-wrote with Dr. Thaddeus Whoopenhoffer and our own Mandrake Chapman.

HGP is honored to have added the esteemed grammarian, Mrs. Vula Bimbaum, to our editorial staff.  Mrs. Bimbaum taught English for 38 years at the Jimmy Carter Middle School (formerly, the Richard M. Nixon Junior High), and one year of high school Latin, as well as published the Weekly Grammarian from 1982-1987, a locally distributed news letter in the greater Kansas City area.  Says Mrs. Bimbaum, “When it comes to bad grammar, there is never a scarcity of examples.  Never has been.  Now when you write this, make sure that you join “Never has been” to the previous sentence.  Otherwise it will be a fragmented sentence.  Now, we couldn’t have that, could we?”  In addition to her publishing forte, which Mrs. Bimbaum insists should be pronounced “fort,” she is one of the founding members of the  Professional Structuralist Grammarians’ Association and a member of the Professional Organization of English Majors.  An early essay of Mrs. Bimbaum’s, “2011:  When Grammarians Rule the Earth,” is being featured this week in our Stories department.
