In a boat

on the sea

drifting helplessly,

the fools numbered three.

One said east,

one said west,

and the third

agreed with the rest.

One said push,

one said pull,

and the third filled in

to make three fools.

One sat dry,

one said bail,

and the third

just couldn’t tell.

One said swim,

one said sink,

and the third

stopped to think.

Three fools in a boat,

all went down.

They finally all agreed,

All three were drown.
