(AP) Senator Leonard K. Bullfinch (At-Large)
addressed the press early today, stating that photographs that were published in the Crossgrove (Illinois) Times this weekend
were blatant forgeries. The photos, which clearly showed the Senator dancing naked with seven naked Playboy
Bunnies first appeared this week on the Internet. Says the Senator of the alleged incident, “Hell,
I don’t even know that many women to begin with, much less women who would be willing to get naked with me.
If I’d been havin’ that kind of action, I’d be the first to be braggin’ about it.”
The Crossgrove Times called the Senator’s comments crass and sexist, and called for his immediately
resignation. A spokesperson for the Senator stated, “Resign? Hell, I wasn’t
elected to begin with.” The Times, said in a follow-up statement, “How can you be
a spokesman for yourself?” To which the Senator replied, “Who better?”
