Happy National Apostrophe Day! We here at the Holy Grail Press are officially declaring this Monday, February 21, as National Apostrophe
Day! National Apostrophe Day was inspired by President’s’ Day, which this new
holiday purposefully falls upon. For after all, on Presidents Day are we celebrating one president’s
day, or are we celebrating more than one presidents’ day? And if it’s only one, which one is
it? But really, who cares? I mean, what difference does it make anyway?
It’s just grammar. After all, why should accuracy matter? This is America!
Close enough is good enough. It’s the land where anybody can rise to mediocrity
on her or his own. Makes ya proud. So join us on Monday, February 21, as we celebrate National
Apostrophe day. With permanent marker in hand, we’re going to put an apostrophe on every S we see.
Because you can never have too many apostrophe’s.
